Aydee Smedry Wrote the Chapter Headings

I just finished reading Alcatraz Versus the Shattered Lens by Brandon Sanderson. I couldn't stop myself. I will try to not give spoilers about it here, but there is one thing I'd like to organize my mind about:

The numbering system of the chapter headings.

You see, in this book, Alcatraz has declared himself to be stoopid. So stoopid, in fact, that the chapter headings start at 2 and go downhill from there. There aren't really any spoilers in them, but I thought it would be interesting to document each one and look for fun tidbits behind them.

1. "Chapter 2"
2. "Chapter 6"
3. "Chapter π" (eh, close enough)
4. "Chapter 4 ½"
5. "Chapter 42" (it's the answer to life, the universe, and everything)
6. "Chapter 144" (gross)
7. "Act V, Scene III" (no comment)
8. "Chapter A+" (a desirable grade, yes?)
9. "Chapter No!" (I said YES!)
10. "Chapter 1010" (I'm guessing this was just binary for ten)
11. "Chapter 24601" ("My name is Jean Valjean!")
12. "Chapter 070706" (This one took me a while. It's Brandon and his wife's anniversary. Can we all say "awwwww"?)
13. "Chapter 6.02214179 x 10^23" (a mole of moles dressed like a mole with a mole...)
14. "Chapter Four Teens and a Pickle" (still trying to figure this one out)
15. "Chapter 8675309" (Everybody sing! 867-5309!)
16. "Chapter 16" (Well, how about that? For once, it's right.)
17. "Chapter NCC-1701" ("Space...the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise...")
18. "Chapter 4815162342" (Lost, anyone?)
19. "Chapter ???" (...exactly what it says on the tin)
20. "Chapter ∞" (To infinity...)
21. "Chapter ∞+1" (and beyond!)

Wait a second! There's supposed to be 37 chapters! Oh well, they must have had someone with a talent of being really bad at math counting these ;)
