Well, the First Draft is Done...

I decided to do a major overhaul to my book. I'm currently going through, chapter by chapter, and changing quite a bit of material. My goals are these:

1. Tweak the character arcs and drastically change this character's plot arc.
2. Eliminate fluffy characters
3. Flesh out important characters
4. Generally make things make more sense
5. Unify terminology/technology that evolved as I wrote
   

I'm going through the draft in order and rewriting a lot. For the first four chapters (originally 18k, now 15k), only about 8k words are the same.

Edit: I posted a link to my first draft, but I chickened out. I do promise, though, to post a link to the draft I'm currently working on, when it is completed, which won't be until after finals are over.
