Hero, Main Character, and Protagonist

I was listening to an old episode of Writing Excuses where they differentiated the hero, the main character, and the protagonist according to this blog post.  Basically, the hero is the guy you want to win, the main character is who the story is about, and the protagonist is the guy with the character arc.  Usually these are all the same character, but when I heard the distinction, I realized that the three principal characters of my book each fulfill one of these roles: Quikterr is the hero, Mmiiick is the main character, and Chutwex is the protagonist.  I'm currently debating whether I should change that.

In other news...I've got another cousin (in-law)!
