Okay, so I haven't written in a while. Well, I've written, just not on the blog (I am generally at a loss for blogging topics). Most of my writing efforts have gone to the book I talked about here. Interesting things are beginning to happen and I just have to write them down. For instance, Chutwex just promoted a drill sergeant to the position of general because he can and he thinks it's a good idea. I'm not sure if his idea is going to work out for him yet--I have found that I'm a discovery writer and when I try to outline I have a tendency to tell instead of show. In any case, it should prove itself to be interesting.
When I say I'm a discovery writer, that does not mean I don't have plans--I do have plans. I have an idea of where most of my characters are going to end up; I just don't know if they are going to die before they get there or not (as of right now, only one is completely safe--and many more than that have death guaranteed). I'm so cruel--but at least I plan on not leaving my safe character completely alone. That's nice, isn't it?
